The latest plans for The Golden Triangle in Murrieta reveal that revived planning is currently underway. Recently (April 2007), the Garrett Group has been in discussions with the Domenigonis family and the City of Murrieta to continue the planning of the Crown Jewel of Murrieta development, "The Golden Triangle".

The plan is for a "community-defining" retail and entertainment center in The Golden Triangle. According to the Press-Enterprise, the latest plan calls for "five to six-story buildings with offices on top of retail stores along a Main street."

Included in the Golden Triangle project will be nine upscale restaurants covering about 32,000 square feet, 227,000 square feet for Retail Stores, 150,000 square feet for Department Stores, a 90,000 square foot Theater / Entertainment area and a Hotel / Conference area covering 167,000 Square Feet.

Ground breaking for The Golden Triangle in Murrieta is supposed to take place in the Fall of 2008 with hopes of opening the center in late 2009.
