Nestled neatly within Temecula’s wine country, the Oak Mountain Winery combines the use of century old wine making techniques with modern day technology. The result is something fresh and exquisite and many are taking notice. In just five short years, Winemakers Steve and Valerie Andrews have created a system of winemaking that continues to rival some of the best wineries in California’s Napa Valley.

Located on Via Verde Road, across from Leonesse Cellars, Oak Mountain has become home to Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec and primitiva grapes – the ancestral relative of Zinfandel that has its origins in Italy and Croatia. Oak Mountain Winery will use its own grapes, as well as purchase local Temecula grapes for our award winning wines. Now open seven days a week from 11:00am-5:00pm in our barrel room. The facility will also be blessed with an underground cave cellar and an 1800 square foot tasting room plus a café scheduled to open in 2008. The Andrews expect that both the Oak Mountain Winery and the Temecula Hills Winery (their first creation), will produce in excess of 6500 cases per year.
