5 Dead in Long Beach Murders
On Sunday, November 02, 2008, at approximately 8:30 a.m., the Long Beach Police Department responded to the area of Sante Fe Avenue and Wardlow Road near the 405 Freeway regarding a caller that said someone had been murdered.
Long Beach Police Officers and California Highway Patrol Officers searched the area and discovered the bodies of 3 Male adults and 2 Females adults inside a homeless encampment behind a building in the 1500 block of W. Wardlow Road and the 405 Freeway off ramp. It appears that all five victims suffered gunshots wounds. All of the victim’s identity is pending the investigation of the Los Angeles County Coroners Office.
