By Inland Empire • Jul 1st, 2009 • Category: NewsOn Monday, June 29, 2009 at 8:42 p.m., Hesperia deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery at the above location. Upon arrival they learned that two white male adults, one with a black handgun, came into the store and robbed the two employees at gunpoint. The suspects were wearing all black clothing and ski masks, no further description. The suspects took all of the cash from the register, along with a baseball bat, and left in a vehicle at a high rate of speed. The truck was last seen heading towards Seventh Avenue, and westbound on Walnut.
The vehicle is described as a grey or brown truck, possibly a Chevy Silverado, with a new style extended cab, and appeared to have several occupants inside. An area check for the vehicle was conducted, however, the vehicle was not located. The victims were in fear of their lives during the incident.
