Highland – Attempt Burglary

On July 1, 2009 at approximately 3:27 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 27000 block of Cypress reference a residential burglary in progress. The victims inside the house had called dispatch and stated that two males were attempting to break into their house by using screwdrivers to pry open the sliding glass door in the backyard.
Upon arrival, the suspects fled but were located a block away at the corner of Central and Cypress. They were positively identified by the victims as the suspects who had tried to break into their house. Both suspects were arrested and the juvenile was booked at Juvenile Hall.
