On Thursday, July 02, 2009, at approximately 6:30 P.M., Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Palm Desert Station responded to R & R Mobile Home Park, located at 15685 Palm Drive, Desert Hot Springs, Ca. regarding an armed robbery.

The investigation revealed an ice cream vendor was approached by two Hispanic males and one Caucasian male in their late teens inside the mobile home park. The Caucasian male brandished a black revolver and demanded money. One of the other males reached into the victim’s pocket and took an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. All three suspects fled on foot. There were no injuries during the incident. The investigation is still on-going.
