San Bernardino -Second Victim Dies in Recent Triple Shooting

Investigations Lt. D. Keil explains that on June 29, 2009, at about 9:00 PM three men were shot during an incident in the 600 block of West 16th Street, in San Bernardino. Mr. Pascual Popoca (age 17, from San Bernardino) was driving through the area of West 16th  Street and North G Street, when he was struck by a stray round originating from a gunfight between Mr. Ivory Houston (deceased) and Mr. Ardell Holmes.

Mr. Popoca’s injuries left him hospitalized in critical condition.  On Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at approximately 5:00 PM, Mr. Popoca passed away as a result of the injuries he sustained.

Today, July 2, 2009, the investigation was submitted to the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office and charges were filed against Mr. Ardell Holmes for Mr. Popoca’s murder.
