Apple Valley – Residential Burglary

By Inland Empire • Nov 21st, 2009 • Category: NewsOn Thursday, November 19, 2009 a witness reported two suspects burglarizing a residence in the 17000 block of Quantico Rd. and was able to get the license plate of the suspect vehicle. Deputies responded to the residence however the suspects had left the location.
Through investigation, deputies were able to determine the suspects were from the Barstow/Daggett area. Barstow deputies were alerted and spotted the suspect vehicle driving in the area of Daggett and Mojave roads. A traffic stop was conducted and the suspects were arrested with the stolen property was recovered.
Donald Brooks and Katrina Simmons were arrested for PC 459 Burglary and PC 3056 violation of parole. Both suspects were booked at the West Valley Detention Center and are being held without bail.
