# Coroner Case 701000694– On 01/29/10 at 8:12 AM Ontario Police Department received a 911 call of shots fired in the 2500 block of E. Riverside Dr., Ontario. When officers arrived on scene, Vincent Mejia II of West Covina  was found in the parking lot of an apartment complex with traumatic injuries. Mejia was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy will be done to determine the cause of death. The Ontario Police Department is investigating the incident. [01292010 1537 SY]

# Coroner case #701000675–On 1/27/2010 at approximately 2:30 PM, Chino Police and Fire responded to a traffic collision involving a Toyota Camry and a bicycle rider on in the 6100 block of Kimball Avenue. The driver of the Toyota Camry had been traveling west on Kimball when she collided with a bicycle being ridden by Roy Carl Hall, a 59 year old resident of Ontario. Hall was transported by helipcopter to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries this a.m. Hall had been wearing a helmet. # Coroner case # 701000645– On 01/26/2010 at approximately 8:45 PM, Robbie Winnen, a 48 year-old resident of Rancho Cucamonga, was shot on the 71000 block of Samarkand Drive in the city of Twentynine Palms. Winnen was transported from the scene by ambulance to Desert Regional Medical Center and pronounced dead at 11:47 PM. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident. # Coroner case # 701000641– On 01/26/2010 at approximately 6:00 PM, Kyle Perreira, a 21 year-old resident of Victorville, jumped off the Bear Valley Road overpass onto southbound I-15 in Victorville. Perreira was struck by two vehicles and pronounced dead on-scene at 6:29 PM. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident. [012710 0340 GB]

# Coroner case # 701000595. (01/25/2010) Gilbert George Bribiesca, a 55 year old resident Upland was out on his front porch located on the 700 block of Washington Blvd in Upland. At 12:23 AM multiple gunshots were heard and Bribiesca was shot. Bribiesca was transported to the San Antonio Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 12:38 AM. # Coroner case# 701000621–On 01/25/2010, Minerva Gonzalez, a 28 year-old resident of Fontana, was found unresponsive with traumatic injuries. A 911 call was made. Paramedics responded to the residence located on the 9000 block of Juniper Ave in Fontana and confirmed Gonzalez was dead on-scene at 3:39 PM. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death. Fontana Police Department Homicide Detectives are investigating the incident. # Coroner case # 701000589– On Sunday, 01/24/2010 at 8:01 PM, Gina Ziesing, a 44 year old resident of Yucca Valley was crossing the street in the 55000 block of State Highway 62 in the city of Yucca Valley, when she was struck by a 2005 Buick van traveling east bound on State Highway 62. Ziesing was pronounced dead at the scene. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the collision. [012510 0240 GB]

# Coroner case #’s 701000512 and 701000513 VN: On Monday evening, January 18, 2010, an aircraft (Cessna 340) flying from Henderson, Nevada, to Los Angeles, was lost from radar at 2030 hours, in the area of Lytle Creek. The aircraft was piloted by Everett Arinwine, a 47 year old resident of El Segundo, with a passenger, Angela Todd, age 42 of Horn Lake, Mississippi. Family reported the aircraft overdue on Wednesday evening, January 20th. A search of the area was conducted by members of the California Civil Air Patrol and the aircraft wreckage was found in Sycamore Canyon late Wednesday, or early Thursday. Due to the inaccessibility of the location, and a major weather system moving through the area, scene response and recovery by Sheriff Search and Rescue, Coroner Division personnel, and National Transportation and Safety Board investigators, was delayed until Saturday. # Coroner Case # 701000560 – On 01/22/2010 at 9:30 PM, Timothy Adams a 60 year old resident of Los Angeles was driving a 1979 Jeep CJ6 with a friend near the Giant Rock Air Strip in Landers. While driving, the Jeep overturned and Adams was pinned under the Jeep. His friend dug Adams out and Adams refused medical aid. They returned to the friend’s home in Landers for the night. This morning the friend awoke and found Adams unresponsive. The friend called 911 and medics with San Bernardino County Fire responded to the home. The medics confirmed Adams dead on 1/23/2010 at 6:48 AM. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death. The California Highway Patrol is also investigating. [012310 2200 JK]
