Jurupa Station – Child Molestation

By Inland Empire • Feb 2nd, 2010 • Category: TopicsOn January 31, 2010, at 1118 hours, deputies from the Jurupa Valley Station responded to the 3700 block of Harvill Lane, in the unincorporated area of Riverside County known as Home Gardens, reference the sexual assault of a child.
When deputies arrived, they learned that the suspect, who was a neighbor of the victim, had carried the victim from the location and sexually assaulted her. The child was able to escape from the suspect and report the incident to her mother, who called the Sheriff’s Department. The suspect fled the area with a family member prior to arrival of the deputies.
During the course of this investigation it was determined that the suspect had also sexually assaulted a young child in the summer of 2009, and until this incident, the past assault had gone unreported. Both investigations are continuing.
The suspect is identified as:
Jose Antonio Rosales Navarette (A.K.A. Jose Rosales), Date of Birth: 1/13/78, Hispanic Male, 5’07”, 180 pounds, black hair, brown eyes.
The suspect was last seen leaving the area in a Dark Blue 1992 Honda Civic 4 door sedan, license 3BFB596.
