Big Bear City Resident Arrested For Child Molestation

On Saturday, January 30, 2010, Martin Richter was apprehended at his home in Big Bear City regarding an ongoing child molestation investigation. During the course of the investigation, it was discovered Richter was a pastor at churches in the Glendora and Big Bear City areas.

Richter was taken into custody without incident and arrested on felony charges of child molestation, continuous sexual abuse of a child, oral copulation, and penetration with a foreign object. Richter is being held in custody at West Valley Detention Center in lieu of $350,000 bail. A preliminary hearing in this matter is set for February 16, 2010 at the San Bernardino County Superior Court.

Investigators are concerned that there are possibly additional victims.
