A Corporal observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the road near Mcallister Parkway and Blackburn Road occupied by two adults.
The occupants were contacted and the driver Alifeleti Katoa, 41 years old of Riverside, was subsequently determined to be under the influence and in possession of a large quantity of methamphetamine.
West County Narcotics Task Force personnel and members of the Riverside Sheriff’s Drug Endangered Children’s Unit responded to assist in the investigation, which led to a residence in the 2000 block of Pread Street in Riverside. Two additional adults and two juveniles were located inside the residence. A subsequent search of the location turned up a large quantity of cocaine.
Investigators seized a total of over a quarter pound of methamphetamine and 90 grams of cocaine. Alifeleti Katoa was arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on charges of possession of methamphetamine for sale, possession of cocaine for sale, under the influence, and child endangerment.
