Murrieta – Theft of 18 Lap Top Computers from Best Buy

On 03-08-10, at about 2008 hours, a theft of Lap Top Computers was reported from Best Buy located at 25080 Madison Ave. The theft occurred at about 1956 hours. An area check for the suspects was conducted, but the suspects were not found.

A witness saw 2 white male adults leaving the store with the computers through the south fire exit. 18 Lap Top Computers were stolen. The total loss is estimated as $16,749.82. The types of Lap Top Computers included Sony Intel Core and Asus Intel Core Processors.

The suspects are described as follows:

· A White male approximately 25 to 35 years old, about 5’09” to 6’00 tall, with short brown hair and wearing a tan long sleeve shirt and jeans.

· A White or Hispanic male approximately 25 to 35 years old, about 5’10” to 6’00 tall, with a shaved bald head, and wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

The investigation is continuing and anybody with information regarding this crime is encouraged to call the Murrieta Police Department at 951-304-COPS (951-304-2677).
